Happy Friday everyone! Today should be a good one. After work, I get to head on over to Turner field for another one of those good ole' Bravos games. Tonight, they're retiring Bobby's number. #six. We're going to show our support and to say "Thanks, Bobby."
Bobby Cox was the manager for the Braves from before I was even born up through the 2010 season. He has been part of the Braves family almost as long as the franchise has been around, so this is really going to be a special night.
I'm really hoping we get to see another sunset like this one:
The beauty of this city really gets me sometimes.
The boyman has a friend in town, so it will be fun to help entertain him and I'm sure that, combined with such a historic Braves game will make for a fun Friday night!
It is supposed to rain most of Saturday and Sunday, but I don't really mind. The rain should help cool things off a bit! Sunday, though, we are participating in Feast Noir , so I really hope it doesn't rain for that! I'm pretty sure I'll be making a peach cobbler and then I'm up in the air between my new favorite mac&cheese and an Island Pork Tenderloin.
What do y'all think? Mac & Cheese or Pork?!
I hope your Friday is going wonderfully so far, and can't wait to hear about your weekend adventures come Monday! Do you have anything fun coming up either this weekend or one soon?
That's going to be a great game! I love Bobby Cox and was lucky to be there for his last game. I may have teared up... :)
