Even though I'm exhausted because I got up 12 hours ago and only slept for five last night, I feel really renewed today. Maybe it's all the smoothies?
6am spin class?
Thanks to my friend Jenna suggesting it, I took my gym membership off hold today and decided it's time to start going in the morning. We're going to hold each other accountable and be gym buddies. I love it. But I'mma need winter to go ahead and get to steppin' because I got home from the gym this morning and it was still too dark outside to go for a walk for Bailey. So, obviously, I laid down and "napped." At 7am... Normal...
Long story short, I feel back to my old self- the self that cared a *lot* about my health and made an effort to be healthy. Minus the whole "bedtime" thing. Definitely need more than five hours of sleep each night.
So, tonight, Bails and I are going to go for our walk and then, after a clean dinner, I'm going to study for a bit and then crash. Exciting Friday night, huh? I think feeling renewed is worth it. I'd way rather have gotten up and gone to spin this morning and crash tonight than spend my evening doing something that would only make me feel lousy about myself. Like the spin instructor said this morning... they're going to be taking the covers off the pools soon! Time to get back at it.
Work out. Eat clean. Center my life around my health. Which of course includes my mental happiness! 80/20 rule. Here we go! Happy Friday everyone!
PS- If I can do it, you can do it! Seriously. Ask me how many times I hit the snooze button in my sleep without even knowing it.
