Hermit

Hey everyone!  How are y'all today?  Super thankful that it's Thursday I'll bet! I know I am.  This week has been crazy!  As you can tell, I've had trouble balancing my normal blogging routine with work, school and life.  I've got my first exam coming up in two weeks too, so I'm afraid things might remain a bit unstable around here, but I promise to post as often as I can!

I spent most of my week trying to get caught up on homework and real work, going to the gym, spending time with friends and laughing at Bailey.  Tuesday evening, she and I got to go over to our friends Traci and Steven's brand new house!  I can't believe my friends are homeowners!  Bailey and Stella got to play together and they had a fantastic time romping around the backyard, running into glass doors and wreaking havoc throughout the house while Tra and I caught up!

(Pic from Traci's Instagram feed- thanks Tra!)

In between playing with the pups and catching up, Traci made an awesome dinner of turkey burgers and asparagus and then finished it off with homemade ice cream (well, frozen yogurt) sandwiches! Yum!!

Sadly, after dessert I had to head home and do homework.  I got myself to bed early because I had a date with Jenna early thirty the next morning in spin class!

21 miles in 52 minutes isn't too shabby! I'm really enjoying getting up early and going to the gym with Jenna but boy does it make staying up late tough!  Creating a solid morning gym routine is on my to-do list before the end of the month arrives.  Last night, I met up with a friend who is heading out of town today to have a few drinks and say farewell, and by about 10pm I was dragging!  I ended up not making it to the gym this morning in favor of a little extra sleep, but I'm definitely working on the habit.

Tonight, I've got a hair appointment with my beloved hairdresser and Traci is coming too!  I get to see her so many times this week! Yay!  After our appointments, we're all going to go out to dinner together and I can't wait.

It is definitely a good thing I got to spend so much time with my friends this week because next week I'm fairly certain I'm going to become a hermit.  And with that being said- I've got to go crawl back in my hermit hole and get more work done.  Thanks for being patient and sticking with me while I figure out where blogging will fit into my new schedule.  Ciao loves!
