High Five: Smiles & Sunshine

It's Friday, y'all! High Five!! Seems like I should put five exclamation points there, doesn't it?

Not only is it Friday, but this weekend is St. Patrick's Day! Please share how you're celebrating! Is anyone going to Chicago or Savannah (or another city that really does this holiday right)? I love St. Patrick's Day for many reasons, but my favorite parts are all the green (my favorite color) and the idea of being lucky -- and skipping around like a jolly little leprechaun who just found his pot of gold.

There were so many things making my pot of gold runneth over this week (#sorryimnotsorry for that pun), but here are my High Five!
  1. Bails is feeling much better and is no longer limping! A little rest does a puppy good. Yesterday evening, we even got to go on a lovely walk with my friend and visit a duck pond where Bailey got to chase all the animals around to her heart's content! Thanks to the time change, we even had some extra time to spend outside in the sun.
  2. Spending time with my Granny for her 90th birthday! I just couldn't be blessed with a more wonderful family.

  3. Speaking with that same lovely Granny yesterday on the way home from work. Her joy is contagious and she makes me smile every time I think about her! She told me a story about winning bridge yesterday that made me grin from ear to ear.  I can't wait to share it with you in next week's Everybody Talks post!
  4. Green smoothies- especially this one- have kept my nutrition at least somewhat on track this week! I never made it to the grocery store, so there has been a lot of questionable consumption in my house this past week... Slurping down at least one green smoothie a day helps me feel like my eats haven't been a total waste of nutrition!
  5. I've been saving this one all week to share with y'all! We got our exams back in my Managing in the Global Economy course back on Monday and guess what? Yours truly is (currently) a straight A student!
And with that, we've wrapped up a really excellent week! Plenty of things to smile about.  I hope you each enjoy yourselves this weekend. Soak up all the good fortune and as always, stay safe, happy and joyful! Here in Atlanta, we're supposed to have a weekend full of sunshine, and I can't wait to spend it outdoors! Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Before you go, tell me:
What were your high five this week?

  6. Woop woop! Look at you, Miss Smartie! That's awesome!! Sounds like you're totally rocking school these days. Great to hear that Bailey is feeling better and that you had a fabulous week. 2 of my High-Fives for this week: I took on 3 new health coaching clients and just had a fabulous session with one of them, and the sun is shining today (unlike every other day this week which have all been snowy!)
