Thankful Thursday

Hey everyone! I hope you are well today. Day two of Spring got a little cold on us down here in Atlanta, but the sun is still shining and I have a guilt-free cookie, so I'm happy. It's time for another Thankful Thursday!

  1. A random employee at the pet store (where I never go, but went out of desperation) recommended a new leash/collar contraption to help Bailey and me have more pleasant walks together and the thing works. It was like a miracle. With the Gentle Leader, I barely even have to use one finger to hold the leash. Can I get a Hallelujah?
  2. Cookies. Cookie cookies cooooooookies.
  3. Brigitt. Because she sent me the cookies. And because shes a nice human.
  4. Monday I got to go to my favorite spin class. I haven't been in months. Maybe even a year. It is the best class ever, but it is at 6:45pm on Monday nights and just doesn't usually work with my schedule. But I got to go on Monday!
  5. Tuesday I made it to my favorite Body Works class. Two favorite classes in one week?! I feel so happy! And 4Square gave me permission to "Drink alllll the protein shakes."
  6. Wednesday I cleaned my house. Baseboards. Floorboards. Stairs. Dust bunnies gone. Clean rugs. It took forever, but I finally did it. Now I just have to clean the fans. How does the dirt and dust stay on the fans even when they're moving? I don't get it.
  7. Walks with friends. I love walking Bails just the two of us, but it's even more fun when we have friends with us.
  8. $1 cabbage. It's really strange how much joy I've gotten out of getting a whole cabbage for only $1.
  9. I finally figured out the Amazon Affiliates program which I am quite excited about! I think it is really neat how the program works. And for full transparency, many of my links going forward will be through the program, so I may get a small commission if you click through and purchase the product I linked you to (An example would be the link to Bailey's magic leash/collar up there).
  10. Friday. It is tomorrow in case you weren't aware.
Submit your link for Thankful Thursday below, and before you go, tell me:
What are you thankful for this week?

  1. Gentle leader is awesome, the only way we were able to walk my dog. No lie.

    1. I was shocked how well it worked the first time I put it on Bailey! So thankful I found it.

  2. My foursquare does not look nearly as cool as yours. Maybe I need to update!

    I am thankful for..
-the arrival of spring, but wishing it would grace the NE with it's presence.
    -the gym
-the promise of spending the weekend at home with my family
-march madness (I know it sounds silly, but I just love it so much!!)
-8+ hours of sleep every night this week

  3. Holy smokes, what a productive week! I love walks with friends, but lately it's been far too cold for those! I'm super pumped for spring to REALLY arrive so that I can get outside again. This week, I'm thankful for the new health coaching clients I've taken on, lots of inspiring ideas popping up in my head, and yes, the fact that tomorrow is Friday!

  4. We tried the gentle leader with Barkley but it just didn't work for him. We had to go with the prong collar... and he's still even a little strong for that!

  5. Oh I hate cleaning baseboards! That may be one thing I actually complain about doing.

    1. Agree to agree- baseboards are a pain! And I always forget to do them until they get super dusty. ICK!

  6. Cooooookies. Oh man, I need to do a deep-house-clean too. And I will NEVER understand the mystery of dusty fans! It's dust! Blowing around is what it does, NOT clinging to fast-moving objects!

  7. Yes!! Fantastic week. I am grateful for Hubby. A friend is getting married and she is thinking of using the photographer that we used so she asked if I could send her some pics. I loved going through them, I even went back to look at some emails that hubby and I exchanged during that time to see if I could find some figures and stuff for her. It was fun looking back and seeing how our relationship has evolved. I am also grateful for books, I am back to my obsessive reading habits and loving it. I am thinking I might even try out a non YA fantasy to switch it up a little (let me know if you have a suggestion!!). I am grateful for you and your upbeat attitude your blog that reminds me to be grateful!! :)
